A founding member of the firm, Kevin J. Moser provides a variety of services for his clients who come from the northern part of the state as well as from the southeast portion of Indiana. Perhaps the biggest part of his practice revolved around family law matters. In that regard, Mr. Moser assists people who are seeing their marriages come to an end and who are needing to resolve such divorce-related issues as child custody and visitation, the equitable division of marital property, and child and spousal support. In addition, he helps clients who are seeking the enforcement of or modification to existing parenting and support orders, and he has experience in grandparent and other kinship adoptions.
In his criminal defense practice, Mr. Moser assists area residents who have been charged with state or federal misdemeanors or felonies. The types of cases that he has handled have included driving under the influence, white collar crimes, sex offenses, weapons violations, robbery, burglary, drug possession and trafficking, public intoxication, and assault and other violent crimes. He has been able to mount successful defenses that in many cases have resulted in acquittals, while in others he has negotiated favorable plea agreements with the prosecutor.
As an undergraduate, Mr. Moser attended the University of Kentucky, and he had dual majors in classics and history. In 2005, he received two Bachelor of Arts, both magna cum laude, and upon graduation he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Mr. Moser's legal education came at Wake Forest University School of Law, and he served an internship with the United States Tax Court before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2008. He is admitted to practice in Kentucky and Indiana as well as before several federal courts.
