Founding partner of Grubbs Rickert Landry Law, PLCC, Margo L. Grubbs represents clients in Kentucky in matters of family law. A trusted adviser and fierce advocate for her clients for the last 35 years, Ms. Grubbs handles cases of same-sex partnership along with criminal law, personal injury, wrongful death, civil litigation, probate, will, living wills and powers of attorney, and she is a life coach and family mediator.

Ms. Grubbs earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Northern Kentucky University in 1975 before attending Salmon P. Chase College of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 1980. Currently she is admitted to practice in Ohio and the commonwealth of Kentucky, and before the United States Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.

In addition to holding memberships with the American Trial Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association, Ms. Grubbs is also a member of the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, the Kentucky Justice Association and the Kentucky Bar Association. A former president of The Salmon P. Chase American Inn of Court, she is also a Life Fellow of the Kentucky Bar Foundation and served on the board of governors for two terms for the Kentucky Bar Association.

An engaging presenter, Ms. Grubbs has given seminars on workers’ compensation in Kentucky, personal injury claims, family law, independent adoptions and ethics and substance abuse. She is a former member of the Kentucky Commission on Women, the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Governor’s Task Force on Public Defenders and the Northern Kentucky Women’s Crisis Center.
