B. Clark Batten, II

A founding partner of the Lexington, Kentucky, law firm of O’Brien Batten Kirtley & Coomer, PLLC, attorney B. Clark Batten II serves clients throughout Fayette County and all across the state. A 2001 psychology graduate of Transylvania University, Mr. Batten earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law in 2005. The same year, he was accepted into the Kentucky Bar Association’s active membership. He then began practicing law before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.

Mr. Batten is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Kentucky Justice Association and the Fayette County Bar Association. Committed to making his neighborhood a safer place for everyone, he co-founded and now serves on the board of the Electric Shock Drowning Prevention Association to raise public awareness about electric shock drownings and work to end these tragic accidents.
