Carl D. Edwards Jr. is a partner at Miller Edwards Rambicure PLLC, located in Lexington, Kentucky. Mr. Edwards emphasizes defending companies that have been accused of state or federal occupational health and safety violations and that are engaged in a variety of industries, including steel manufacturing, construction and food processing. He has also provided representation to Kentucky employers in workers' compensation disputes and served as lead counsel in more than 50 medical malpractice trials on behalf of hospitals, physicians and other health care practitioners.
After receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with honors from the University of Kentucky in 1973, Mr. Edwards went on to attend the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor with distinction in 1976. A member of the Kentucky Law Journal, he was inducted into the Order of the Coif in recognition of his high degree of scholarship.
Admitted to practice in Kentucky, Mr. Edwards is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 4th and 6th Circuits, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Edwards is an active participant in several legal organizations, including the Kentucky Justice Association, the American Association for Justice and the Defense Research Institute.
