D. Todd Varellas is a personal injury attorney working out of the Lexington, Kentucky, office of the Varellas & Varellas law firm, which has another office in Louisville. He serves clients in both locations, helping them with legal issues involving medical malpractice, automobile accidents, products and premises liability, and wrongful death.
Graduating summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s in history, international studies and economics, Mr. Varellas pursued his law studies at the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law in Lexington, Kentucky. He enrolled there after being awarded a full academic scholarship for law school and the Charles T. Wethington Jr. Fellowship. Furthermore, he was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board and the Kentucky Law Journal. He graduated with his Juris Doctor in 2008.Â
Licensed to practice in all the state and federal courts of Kentucky since 2008, Mr. Varellas is also admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. His practice is primarily focused on complex litigation issues in personal injury law cases. He has gained considerable trial experience being the lead counsel or co-counsel in several cases before the Supreme Court of Kentucky and the Kentucky Court of Appeals.Â
