In 2021, Ms. Disney attained her J.D. from the University of Kentucky Rosenberg College of Law. During her first year, she garnered praise for delivering the best appellate oral argument of her research and writing group and distinguished herself as the top-scoring advocate in the Trial Advocacy Board's 1L competition. In her second year, she further solidified her standing as a standout advocate by being selected as a member of Moot Court Board and Trial Advocacy Board (TAB), earning the title of top advocate in the Trial Advocacy Board's 2L competition. In her second and third years, Ms. Disney represented UK Law as an advocate on the National Trial Team. In her final year, she assumed leadership roles including President of the Trial Advocacy Board and Secretary for the Moot Court Board. Her excellence in trial advocacy was duly recognized by being selected to receive the Seek Justice Award in her third year.
Following her graduation and successful completion of the Kentucky bar exam, Ms. Disney gained admission to practice law in Kentucky, as well as in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. In addition to her legal practice, she actively engages in professional organizations such as the Defense Research Institute and the Kentucky Defense Counsel and has been coaching trial teams at UK Law each year since 2023.
