Laura Jane McIlvoy

A stalwart advocate for her clients, Laura Jane McIlvoy strives to provide her clients with the top-quality legal representation they deserve in their pressing personal injury matters, fighting tooth and nail to get them the compensation they deserve for the injuries caused unto them by the reckless actions of another party. From the Lexington, Kentucky, office of Becker Law Office PLC, a subsidiary of Bubalo Law PLC, she primarily handles cases related to nursing home abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, and products liability, as well as many high-stakes civil cases. 

Ms. McIlvoy completed her undergraduate studies in 2016, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in German studies from the University of Kentucky. She went on to attend the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, where she was an executive board member of the Moot Court Board, allowing her to strengthen her legal talents and expand her legal knowledge. She received her Juris Doctor in 2019, and prior, was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future award for her prowess in litigation. The same year she graduated from law school, she obtained her license to practice before all state courts in Kentucky. 

With a penchant for finding innovative solutions to problems that require an out-of-the-box approach, Ms. McIlvoy has received the adulation of her peers through her practice, emphasizing meticulous attention to detail, personalized focus and an enthusiastic zeal to seeing her clients free of their legal woes. Outside her law practice, she is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Kentucky Justice Association and American Association for Justice.
