R. Craig Reinhardt

At Reinhardt & Associates PLC in Lexington, Kentucky, R. Craig Reinhardt focuses his practice on insurance defense and personal injury defense, including premises liability claims, insurance coverage matters, and automobile and trucking accident lawsuits, in addition to defending clients in other civil litigation matters. A Kentucky native, he offers insightful and diligent representation to clients throughout the state of Kentucky from his office at the firm, which has grown to include four attorneys in addition to  three paralegals and support staff since its founding in 2002.

In his nearly three decades of practice, Mr. Reinhardt has represented many notable clients, including the state's largest insurer, Kentucky Farm Bureau, before state and federal courts. On account of his strong case record, extensive litigation experience and superb ethics, Martindale-Hubbell has granted him its AV Preeminent rating.

A Kentucky native, Mr. Reinhardt completed his undergraduate work at the Gatton College of Business and Economics, University of Kentucky, in 1982 and pursued his law degree at the University of Kentucky College of Law, graduating in 1985. In addition to practicing before Kentucky state courts, he also is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky.

In order to keep abreast of developments in his field and share his knowledge with his peers, Mr. Reinhardt holds memberships in multiple professional organizations. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Fayette County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, Claims Litigation Management, the Kentucky Bar Association and the Kentucky Defense Counsel, Inc., of which he served as president from 2005 to 2006. In 2014, Mr. Reinhardt was awarded Kentucky Defense Counsel's "Defense Lawyer of the Year".
