    In 1990, Mr. Furman graduated cum laude from the University of Miami with a degree in political science and philosophy, then earned a Juris Doctor in 1993 from the University of Virginia School of Law. He has been active in the Louisville legal community as well. He served as President of the Louisville Bar Association and is currently a member of its Board of Directors. At the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, University of Louisville, he taught trial practice as an adjunct professor for a number of semesters. 

    Mr. Furman is admitted to practice in all Kentucky state courts as well as before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

    Mr. Furman has taught seminars on insurance fraud, health care fraud, legal writing, bankruptcy fraud, whisteblower cases, and legal resources, as well as being a published author on various legal topics. A member of the Louisville Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association and the Kentucky Justice Association, he is focused on his clients, whether they are plaintiffs or defendants, individuals or businesses.
