Hugh W. Barrow

Hugh W. Barrow is the founding partner of Barrow Brown, PLLC, which has offices in Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky. He serves clients across Kentucky and Southern Indiana from his office in Louisville, focusing his practice on family law, divorce, child support and custody, and adoption law.

Mr. Barrow is a seasoned attorney who is experienced in litigation and offering solutions for uncontested and out-of-court divorces. Earning a B.A. in political science from Auburn University in 1999, Mr. Barrow earned his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law and went on to do his master’s in environmental management at Samford University, graduating in 2002. He then received his LL.M. in international law from the University of Washington School of Law in 2003. Licensed to practice in Kentucky and New York since 2004, he is also admitted before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky.

A licensed practitioner for almost two decades, Mr. Barrow is a member of several prominent legal associations, such as the Louisville Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He is also a former board member of the Italian Cultural Institute, a nonprofit that is dedicated to the cultural heritage of Italy. Moreover, he serves as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem in family court and as a warning order attorney for the Jefferson Circuit Court.
