Jeff W. Adamson

Attorney Jeff W. Adamson works at Adamson Law with offices located in the hearts of St. Matthews and La Grange, Kentucky. He helps clients with legal matters involving car wrecks, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, veterinary negligence, dog bites, premises liability, product liability, trucking accidents and catastrophic injuries. 

Mr. Adamson is a passionate attorney who offers effective and efficient advocacy both within and outside the courtroom. Prior to joining Adamson Law, he worked for an insurance defense law firm, representing insurance companies and businesses against injury claims. While there, he gained a wealth of knowledge that he uses now to help victims who are injured due to negligence.

Graduating summa cum laude with a B.A. in political science and economics from the University of Louisville, Mr. Adamson went on to pursue his master’s in public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. He then decided to study law and enrolled at the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. During law school, he was the recipient of the Peter Perlman and the Class of 1972 Merit Scholarships, and he won the award for the best brief in the 1L Writing Club. He was also a member of the Trial Advocacy Board (2004-2006).

Earning his Juris Doctor in 2006, Mr. Adamson was licensed to practice in Kentucky the same year, and later, gained admissions to appear before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. 

Active in the legal arena for more than 18 years, Mr. Adamson maintains professional memberships with several prominent associations, including the Kentucky Bar Association, the Louisville Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Oldham County and St. Matthews Chambers of Commerce. He is a member of the Board of Governors for the Kentucky Justice Association and serves his local community as General Counsel for the Oldham-LaGrange Development Authority.

Sharing his legal knowledge with fellow attorneys, Mr. Adamson lectures at various seminars and conferences and has written articles on several legal topics related to personal injury law.
