Krsna I. Tibbs

For more than 20 years, Krsna Tibbs has been a force for change for his clients, helping them navigate the complex maze of family law and criminal defense in an effort to leave their legal woes firmly in the past so they can move forward and onto better opportunities in the future. From the Tibbs Law Office in Louisville, Kentucky, he handles myriad legal issues pertaining to:

Mr. Tibbs completed his Master of Business Administration degree in 2001 from the University of Louisville and went on to attend the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, where he sharpened his legal acumen and talents through his participation in many activities, including winning the Pirtle-Washer Moot Court Competition, with the proud distinction of being the first African American to win the competition. He received his Juris Doctor in 2003, and a year later, he obtained his license to practice law in Kentucky.

With his first foray into the legal industry being in the Adult Trial Division of the Louisville Metro Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Tibbs gained immense exposure to the inner workings of the judiciary he operates in, giving his clients today the added advantage of having a dedicated attorney who is also keenly aware of the many intricacies of the many courtrooms in Louisville. Through his impressive work ethic, he was promoted to deputy chief of the Adult Trial Division and later became chief.

Within his legal community, he is a member of the Louisville Bar Association (on the board of directors) and the Kentucky Bar Association, and for his many contributions, he has been peer-review rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell and holds a perfect rating of “10.0” on Avvo, along with myriad positive client testimonials on the latter site.
