Lisa Koch Bryant

With over 45 years of experience practicing law, Lisa Koch Bryant maintains an expansive practical knowledge of many aspects of bankruptcy law, commercial litigation and creditors’ rights, as well as animal law. From Tilford Dobbins & Schmidt, PLLC, in Louisville, Kentucky, she serves clients throughout the surrounding region, and she is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th and 7th Circuits.

Ms. Bryant completed her undergraduate studies at the Centre College, Kentucky, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in religion and a minor in English. She went on to attend the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where her academic prowess was evident in her induction into the Order of the Coif and being the recipient of numerous Book Awards. After receiving her Juris Doctor, she became licensed to practice law in Kentucky in 1977 and in Indiana a year later. 

Throughout her illustrious career, Ms. Bryant has provided eminent legal counsel for many large corporations, including Citizens Union Bank, Farm Credit Mid-America, Farmers Tobacco Warehouse and Peoples Bank & Trust Co., to name a few. With prior experience as head of litigation for the Federal Land Bank of Louisville, she understands the intricacies of her clients’ legal woes and works tirelessly to help them get the peace of mind they deserve. For her many contributions, she has been peer-review rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell, the organization’s highest rating.
