Matthew L. White

Matthew L. White, a founding partner of the Louisville-based firm Gray and White Law, is a renowned personal injury attorney practicing law in the state of Kentucky. He represents businesses and individuals against ginormous corporations in cases involving nursing home abuse and neglect, consumer fraud, financial fraud, class action litigation, medical malpractice, defective drugs and devices, and wrongful death.

Named one of the Best Lawyers in America by U.S. News & World Report, Mr. White also received the title of one of the Top Lawyers in Louisville. The National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys conferred him with the Top 10 Attorneys Award, and he is also a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. One of his most recent successes is a class action case against a national insurance firm, which resulted in the case being settled for a value exceeding 16 million dollars. Because of his advocacy on behalf of clients who have sustained injuries, there have been substantial improvements in patient and consumer safety as well as in the fight against financial fraud.

Along with his professional activities, Mr. White also volunteers in his community and offers pro bono legal services throughout the state whenever possible. He is a member of the American Institute of Legal Advocates, the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, the Nursing Homes Litigation Group, the Public Investors Advocate Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, the Louisville Bar Association and the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. 

Mr. White attended the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, earned his Juris Doctor with a full scholarship, and was admitted to practice in Kentucky in 2000. Prior to receiving his J.D., he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville in 1997.
