Ms. Couch began her professional career in accounting and finance after earning a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Bellarmine University in 2003. She worked with a major accounting firm specializing in health care auditing and taxation, and later served as Chief Financial Officer of a mortgage company. This background provides her with a strong foundation in financial matters, which she integrates into her legal practice to provide comprehensive and informed advice.

Ms. Couch earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville in 2013. Her legal career began at a large law firm in the Regulated Business Practice Group, where she gained experience in complex corporate and regulatory matters. She has also contributed to the legal community as an educator, teaching property law, professional responsibility, evidence, mediation, taxation and commercial law at the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law and School of Business. She holds mediation certificates from both Northwestern University and Harvard Law School and frequently speaks on consumer protection and civil discovery issues.
