Later, he gained admission to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.

The recipient of Martindale-Hubbell’s Client Champion Gold award in 2022, Mr. Abney is a compassionate attorney who uses his knowledge of the law to get justice for his clients whose rights have been infringed upon.
