Paul J. Hershberg

Attorney Paul J. Hershberg is of counsel at Paul Hershberg Law, PLLC, in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Hershberg has more than 20 years of experience practicing complex commercial litigation. He handles matters involving bad faith claims, business litigation, business partnership disputes, contract disputes, insurance coverage disputes and shareholder disputes and takes on appellate cases from other attorneys. He serves clients in Louisville and throughout the state of Kentucky.

Prior to founding his firm, Mr. Hershberg spent more than 10 years practicing with a major law firm litigating insurance coverage claims for both plaintiffs and defendants. Over the course of his career, he has successfully litigated complex cases before courts including the Kentucky Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Kentucky and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.

In recognition of his accomplishments, Martindale-Hubbell has awarded Mr. Hershberg their highest possible rating of AV Preeminent*. Louisville magazine named him a “top lawyer in Louisville” in appellate law during multiple years and Kentucky’s Legal Leaders named him a “top rated lawyer” in 2013 and 2014. Born and raised in Louisville, Mr. Hershberg earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and received his law degree from Boston College Law School. He holds a license to practice law before all Kentucky state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
