He is licensed to practice in Ohio and Kentucky as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and the Southern District of Ohio.

Active in his legal community, he is a member of the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, the Louisville Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Southwest Ohio Trial Lawyers Association, and the Ohio Association for Justice, among his other professional affiliations. He also serves on the Board of the NKBA Gateway committee, the board of the Wallace Woods Neighborhood Association, the NKBA Career and Client Development Board, and is a Mentor for young inner-city students around Northern Kentucky.
