    A 1971 graduate of University of Pikeville, Mr. Moore studied at Transylvania University before attending the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1974. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky, the U.S. Court of Appeals for 6th and 8th Circuits, and U.S. Supreme Court.

    Drawing upon his extensive legal knowledge, Mr. Moore has published articles and conducted numerous lectures and continuing legal education seminars on a variety of legal topics. He is also a former president of the Daviess County Bar, and he has served as president, vice president, secretary and treasurer of the Kentucky Justice Association. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice and former board member of the Kentucky Bar Association.

Examples of verdicts and settlements representative of the wide range of cases: $14 Million recovery for two wrongful deaths resulting from a hotel fire; $10 Million for multiple claims resulting out of an undergrown mine disaster; $4 Million for 35 year- old man who suffered orthopaedic and brain damage, but continued to work at same job and responsibility as prior to injury; $4 Million to woman with undiagnosed breast cancer; $3.5 Million for a man was exposed to anhydrous ammonia as a result of a filling station design deficiency and suffered caustic burns and pulmonary damage; $3 Million for undiagnosed infection in a new born baby which resulted in significant brain injury; $2.5 Million wrongful death as a result of improperly marked utility lines resulting in an aircraft crash; $2.5 Million for neurological injuries caused by a pharmacy mistakenly providing incorrect information; $2 Million from a pharmaceutical company for negligence in marketing a drug which caused cardiac damages; $1.5 Million for orthopedic injuries received in a tractor-trailer wreck; $1.2 Million for woman suffering hypoxic brain injury during surgery.
