She was a former president of the McCracken County Bar Association and was on the Board of Governors of the Kentucky Justice Association. She currently serves on as a Regent on the Board of Murray State University . Additionally, she serves her community as Chair on the Board of the Barkley Regional Airport.
A 1997 graduate of Centre College, Ms. Roark studied law at the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, which she completed in 2000. She was a meritorious student of law and the editor of the Kentucky Law Journal.
Owning to her services, Ms. Roark was appointed by the governor as a Special Justice of the Kentucky Supreme Court. She is also affiliated with the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and is a fellow at the Litigation Counsel of America.
