Emily M. Roark

A partner at the Kentucky-based law firm Bryant Law Center P.S.C., Emily M. Roark is an attorney focusing her practice on personal injury issues with cases involving mass torts, bad pharmaceutical drugs and defective medical equipment. The firm has offices in Paducah, Louisville and Mayfield, and she extends her practice across western Kentucky and the U.S. for mass torts.

Licensed in Kentucky since 2000, Ms. Roark is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky and the Supreme Court of the United States. She initiated her professional career with a primary focus on criminal law. 

With a resolute commitment to pursue justice, Ms. Roark strives to protect those who are wronged by the system or injured by the negligence of others. She understands the unique value of each person and makes it her purpose to fight against pharmaceutical corporates that attribute little significance to their customers.

Litigating across many districts, Ms. Roark has experience handling cases and class actions involving medical devices from transvaginal mesh to 3M earplugs, Round Up, train derailments,  hip replacements and many other pharmaceuticals. 

Ms. Roark has memberships in the American Association for Justice, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Kentucky Justice Association. She was a former president of the McCracken County Bar Association and was on the Board of Governors of the Kentucky Justice Association. She currently serves on as a Regent on the Board of Murray State University .  Additionally, she serves her community as Chair on the Board of the Barkley Regional Airport.

A 1997 graduate of Centre College, Ms. Roark studied law at the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, which she completed in 2000. She was a meritorious student of law and the editor of the Kentucky Law Journal. 

Owning to her services, Ms. Roark was appointed by the governor as a Special Justice of the Kentucky Supreme Court. She is also affiliated with the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and is a fellow at the Litigation Counsel of America. Rated “Very Good” on Avvo, she has also received a Distinguished* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
