David B. Gray

The founder of Gray Law, PLLC, based in Prospect, Kentucky, David B. Gray focuses his practice on representing individuals and families in complex civil litigation matters involving serious injuries, medical negligence and wrongful death. His areas of practice include medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, birth injury, brain injury, products liability and motor vehicle accidents.

Through his practice, Mr. Gray represents clients facing significant physical, financial and emotional consequences resulting from negligence and preventable injuries. His work includes cases involving medical errors, catastrophic injuries, defective products and serious automobile accidents. He also handles wrongful death matters and claims arising from birth-related injuries and brain injuries.

Mr. Gray's case results include a $7.44 million verdict in Louisville, Kentucky, involving the wrongful deaths of a mother and her baby following a failure to treat the mother's kidney infection. He also obtained a $6.25 million settlement for a young girl who lost both arms and legs after a delay in treating sepsis. These results reflect his work on cases involving catastrophic injuries and fatal medical conditions.

Mr. Gray earned his bachelor's degree from Centre College in 1986. He later attended the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in 1989 and was named to the dean's list. His legal education provided the foundation for his career representing clients in personal injury and civil litigation matters.

Admitted to practice law in Kentucky since 1989, Mr. Gray is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. His practice in Prospect focuses on litigation involving serious injuries, medical negligence and wrongful death.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Gray is active in several professional organizations. He is a member of the Louisville Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, American Bar Association, Kentucky Justice Association and American Association for Justice.
