From his Baton Rouge office, J. Burton LeBlanc specializes in protecting Louisiana’s workforce, the environment and its taxpayers. LeBlanc, who leads the Louisiana office for Baron and Budd, has litigated cases involving toxic exposure, workplace hazards and harmful pharmaceuticals.

Throughout the years, LeBlanc has built a reputation for consumer and environmental advocacy. LeBlanc has also helped recover millions of dollars for injured working men and women in Louisiana.

LeBlanc currently serves as president of the American Association for Justice and is a past president of the Louisiana Association for Justice.

Baron and Budd was founded to fight against large corporations on behalf of asbestos exposure patients. The firm has since grown to handle a variety of cases that protect people from harm or negligence.

The firm’s public service work includes promoting awareness of asbestos cancers including mesothelioma. The firm is a former member of the executive advisory committee of the International Mesothelioma Program and has donated to both the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization and the Lung Cancer Alliance.  

Baron and Budd has underwritten two mesothelioma books, CURE Magazine’s “Understanding Mesothelioma" and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network’s “Guidelines for Patients: Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma.”
