Andrew Blanchfield

A respected attorney based in Baton Rouge, Andrew Blanchfield serves as a managing partner at Keogh Cox, a well-renowned law firm in Louisiana. With a focus on civil litigation, he has established himself as a skilled advocate for his clients in a wide range of legal matters, including medical malpractice, professional liability, business law and litigation, and employment law, among others.

Mr. Blanchfield represents and defends clients from a diverse range of industries, including oil and gas services, industrial services, healthcare and engineering. In addition to his civil and commercial litigation, he extends his service to the Louisiana Attorney General's Office and handles major exposure cases defending state agencies, such as the Louisiana Department of Health, the Louisiana Department of Public Safety & Corrections and the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. 

Mr. Blanchfield earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1981, where he majored in philosophy. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, obtained a Juris Doctor degree in 1985, and was licensed to practice law in Louisiana the same year. Since then, he has litigated cases in several courts across the state, including the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
