He also has experience in legal malpractice cases, birth injuries, brain injuries, amputation, wrongful death, prescription drug errors, nursing home negligence, hospital negligence and physician errors.

Mr. Mouton attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Petroleum Land Management. At the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, he then graduated with a Juris Doctor and is now admitted to practice in the state of Louisiana. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the United States District Court for the Middle of Louisiana and the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.

In 2011, Mr. Mouton was among The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100, and he is now a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association. Within the Louisiana Association for Justice, he works with the Medical Malpractice Section, the Professional Negligence Section and the Legislative Committee.
