Later in 2010, he earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. In law school, he was awarded CALI awards (awarded for the highest grade in his class) in Louisiana Civil Procedure and in Comparative International Law.   He has worked in private practice in Baton Rouge since graduation, where he has honed his litigation skills. 

For his many notable achievements, Mr. Chapman received an AV Preeminent* peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He practices before the Louisiana State Bar Association, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. He is actively associated with the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Baton Rouge Bar Publication Committee.

Mr. Chapman has been devoting considerable time to serving his community through his memberships in the Baton Rouge Bar Association Pro Bono Committee and LSU Barristers’ Bowl Football Club (benefiting Make a Wish Foundation). He has presented at the National Business Institute’s CLE on “Open Meetings Law” and has recently authored several articles which were published in The Baton Rouge Lawyer.
