He is currently an adjunct professor at the Southern University Law Center, where he taught about maritime law and admiralty jurisdiction.  With certifications from Harvard Mediation Education and AAA Arbitration training, Mr. Hooks is an active arbitrator for AAA involving cruise injury crew claims.
