    Kenneth (Kenny) Hooks, III, is a partner with the Dodson & Hooks, APLC,  a law firm located in Baton Rouge the Capital of Louisiana along the Mississippi River.     Along with handling all types of maritime injury, Jones Act, and other tortious claims for seaman, offshore workers and other industry professionals, Mr. Hooks has extensive experience handling serious personal injury claims for clients who suffered losses on land and at sea. He is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts, as well as before U.S. Federal Courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

    A leader in his field, Mr. Hooks has conducted numerous lectures and seminars on a variety of legal topics both locally and internationally.  He currently teaches  maritime law and maritime personal injury classes to second- and third-year law students at Southern University Law Center, in Baton Rouge, LA. Active in his legal community, he is a member of the American Association for Justice Admiralty Law Section and he's a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Baton Rouge Bar Association.
