Attorney Peter J. Losavio, Jr., of Losavio & DeJean in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has more than two decades of experience practicing personal injury and elder law. Throughout his career, Mr. Losavio has handled a variety of matters involving asset protection, disabilities, tax problems and complex business issues. He proudly represents clients from Baton Rouge as well as the surrounding areas.

Mr. Losavio has built his legal practice on an extensive educational foundation. He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in chemistry from Tulane University and earned his law degree from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. After completing his law school education, he attended the University of Florida and earned a master of laws degree in taxation. He has been licensed to practice law in Louisiana since 1975.

In addition, Mr. Losavio has several professional certifications. He is certified as an elder law attorney by the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys — one of a select few to hold this certification. He is also board-certified as an estate planning administration specialist and a tax law specialist.
