Jacques F. Bezou, Jr.

As a partner at The Bezou Law Firm, located in Covington, Louisiana, Jacques F. Bezou Jr. offers compassionate legal representation to individuals and families who suffered injuries across the state. Mr. Bezou works on legal malpractice and medical negligence matters, representing plaintiffs in claims involving serious injuries, professional liability and breaches of the standard of care. His practice also includes personal injury and wrongful death litigation, business disputes and appellate advocacy. Additionally, he handles cases involving traumatic brain injuries, maritime personal injury, and diving and offshore accidents.

Academically accomplished, Mr. Bezou completed his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University in 2006. Later, he went on to pursue his legal studies at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he bolstered his legal skills and gained his Juris Doctor in 2011. In that same year, he was licensed to practice law in Louisiana.

Mr. Bezou is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. His litigation experience allows him to guide clients through every stage of the legal process, from initial investigation and trial preparation to appeals when necessary.

Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Bezou holds memberships with several prestigious organizations, such as the Louisiana State Bar Association, the 22nd Judicial District Court Bar Association and the New Orleans Bar Association. He is also an attorney member of the NORML Legal Committee.
