Born and raised in Erath, Louisiana, Mr. Beal is a proud alumnus of Teurlings Catholic High School, class of 2001. His journey of service began when he enlisted in the United States Air Force in July 2001, later earning a commission as a second lieutenant in the Louisiana National Guard in 2005. During the tumultuous times of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, he took charge as the officer-in-charge of the evacuation shelter at Nicholls State University.
Mr. Beal’s military career further saw him as a strategic plans officer and state intelligence officer for the Louisiana National Guard, culminating in commanding a military intelligence company in Afghanistan. After his distinguished military service, he pursued his passion for law, earning his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2018. That same year, he was licensed in Louisiana.
Beyond his legal career, Mr. Beal is deeply invested in his community. For nearly a decade, he has volunteered as a coach for local schools, nurturing young talent in football, baseball, softball and track. His commitment to Acadiana extends to his support of the Boys & Girls Club of Acadiana, and various charitable causes, including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Through his efforts, he strives to uplift Acadiana, believing that by strengthening his community, he contributes to a brighter future for all of Louisiana.
