Trey Morris

Trey Morris co-founded Morris & Dewett Injury Lawyers in 2001 and has spent over two decades handling complex personal injury cases. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University and his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center. He is licensed to practice in Louisiana and Texas.

The firm has obtained multiple seven, eight, and nine-figure verdicts and settlements, including a $409 million wrongful death verdict, one of Louisiana's largest personal injury awards. The case portfolio includes results in commercial vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury cases.

Mr. Morris serves on the Board of Governors for the Louisiana Association for Justice, the state's premier trial lawyer organization. He has earned Super Lawyers recognition annually from 2019 through 2024, placing him in the top 5% of Louisiana attorneys. He previously received Rising Star designation for four consecutive years. He is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Louisiana State Bar Association.
