• $1 Million Policy Limits Settlement, Rideshare CollisionRepresented a young couple who sustained significant injuries after a rideshare driver made an illegal turn across Clearview Parkway in Jefferson Parish, causing a serious collision. One client required knee surgery and extensive spinal treatment, including epidural steroid injections and radiofrequency ablations, while the other sustained neck and back injuries requiring ongoing care. After filing suit, conducting extensive discovery, taking multiple depositions, and pursuing dispositive motions, the case resolved for the full available $1 million insurance policy.Result: $1 million policy limits settlement in a contested rideshare accident case involving multiple injured plaintiffs, significant orthopedic and spinal injuries, and extensive litigation., 2025
• Confidential Six Figure Settlement, Premises Liability Represented a woman who sustained serious facial fractures and dental injuries after tripping over a defective drainage structure in the parking lot of a major retail store in Kenner, Louisiana. The case involved complex premises liability issues, including allegations that the dangerous condition was altered after the property owner received a preservation notice. Following extensive litigation in federal court, including discovery and depositions, the matter was resolved through a confidential six figure settlement. Result: Confidential six figure settlement in a premises liability case involving serious facial injuries, dental damage, evidence preservation issues, and federal court litigation., 2026
• Confidential Settlement, Catastrophic Utility Line and Motorcycle Collision Represented the family of a motorcyclist who suffered catastrophic injuries after striking a low-hanging utility line before sunrise in Luling, Louisiana. The case involved extensive litigation against multiple defendants and required a comprehensive investigation into the events leading to the utility line hanging across the roadway. Evidence developed during discovery indicated the line had likely been struck by another vehicle shortly before the collision and raised significant issues regarding utility line clearance and responsibility. Following extensive discovery and litigation, the matter was resolved through a confidential settlement on behalf of the client and his family after the client ultimately succumbed to complications from his injuries. Result: Confidential settlement in a complex wrongful death and catastrophic injury case involving multiple defendants and extensive investigation into roadway and utility-related liability.  , 2026
• $2 Million Settlement, Hotel Premises Liability Case Represented a hotel guest who suffered a serious lumbar spine injury in a hotel premises liability incident in New Orleans. After another law firm declined to pursue the matter, our firm conducted a comprehensive investigation, identified multiple responsible corporate entities, and developed the case through extensive discovery. The defense initially offered $350,000, but we continued preparing the case for trial, retaining multiple medical experts to establish the extent of the client's injuries and the aggravation of pre-existing spinal conditions. Following renewed mediation approximately five weeks before trial, the case resolved for $2,000,000, plus fees and costs. Result: $2,000,000 settlement in a contested premises liability case involving multiple defendants and significant spinal injuries., 2026

• Destrehan Mother Injured in Crash Secures Six-Figure Settlement After Insurer Challenges Her Pain: Our client, a divorced mother in her mid-40s from Destrehan, had just finished a routine part of her day, dropping her son off at his father’s house. She was heading home, driving down Ormond Boulevard, when another driver suddenly crossed through the median turn lane and slammed into the driver’s side of her vehicle. The impact left her shaken and in immediate pain. She felt it in her neck, shoulder, and lower back. She had been through something similar years earlier, but this was different. She called us right away, not just because she needed help, but because she remembered how we had treated her the first time: with compassion and honesty. At first, she hoped rest and conservative care would be enough. But the pain didn’t go away. It affected her ability to sleep, move, and do the things she had always managed on her own. She eventually sought a specialist and was diagnosed with herniated discs in both her neck and lower back. She underwent epidural injections and radiofrequency ablations to manage the pain. Surgery was recommended and while she tried to keep life moving for her son, she found herself needing help more often, especially with work on her property and tasks that used to be second nature. The insurance company didn’t make it easy. They downplayed her injuries and, during litigation, even tried to use a single social media post, where she had taken her son to a golf facility for his birthday, as proof that she wasn’t truly hurting. But life doesn’t stop after a crash. A parent still tries to show up for their child, even through pain. We filed suit and dug deeper. In the process, we discovered not just the standard liability policy, but an umbrella policy offering much more coverage than initially disclosed. Over the course of litigation, we fought through depositions, motions, and a failed mediation. We made sure her voice and her story were fully heard. In the end, we secured a confidential settlement in the mid-to-high six figures, enough to reflect not just her medical needs but the real effect this crash had on her life., 2025
