Bradley S. Phillips is the managing partner of Phillips Law, LLC. Located in New Orleans, Louisiana, he divides his practice between criminal defense matters, and personal injury and wrongful death litigation, providing dedicated representation to clients throughout the greater metropolitan area and other parts of the state. Mr. Phillips is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts.
In his criminal defense practice, Mr. Phillips assists people who are facing misdemeanor or felony charges that they have been handed by the state. The types of offenses that Mr. Phillips has handled have included the possession of marijuana and other drugs, driving under the influence of alcohol, robbery, weapons violations, sex crimes, assault and battery, domestic violence, and homicide. Mr. Phillips has been able to obtain bench or jury acquittals in many of these cases, while in others he has negotiated favorable plea agreements with the prosecution. The types of matters that Mr. Phillips has pursued on behalf of his personal injury and wrongful death clients have arisen out of incidents involving truck and other motor vehicle crashes, premises liability, and defective products, and he has successfully obtained several sizable settlements and jury awards on behalf of his plaintiff clients.
Mr. Phillips attended Loyola University New Orleans as an undergraduate, where he majored in philosophy and history, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in 2006. Remaining on campus, he pursued his legal studies at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, and he was active in the school's Trial Advocacy Program before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2010. Mr. Phillips has been in private practice for his entire career, and he is a member of several area bar associations.
