He holds his license to practice in New York as well as Louisiana, and he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana.

Mr. Malvin is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the New Orleans Bar Association. He is the former vice chair of the American Bar Association's TIPS Admiralty Committee.
