Michelle D. Craig

The founder and CEO of the Transcendent Law Group in New Orleans, Louisiana, Michelle D. Craig maintains consistency in her eminent advocacy in every case she handles, no matter the complex challenges that pose as obstacles to achieving their goals. She is well-equipped to handle matters pertaining to employment and labor law, nonprofit organizations and education law.

Ms. Craig completed her undergraduate studies in 1999, graduating with her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern State University, and went on to attend Louisiana State University. During her time there, she enrolled at the LSU Paul M. Herbert Law Center and sharpened her shrewd legal acumen and talents to help her clients today. She received both her Juris Doctor and her Bachelor of Civil Law degree in 2002, and in the same year, she became licensed to practice law in Louisiana.

Throughout her 20-plus years of practice, Ms. Craig has garnered numerous accolades for her contributions to the legal community, including being rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell, the organization’s highest rating and holding a rating of “Excellent” on Avvo. Additionally, she has been the recipient of the Women of the Year award by New Orleans City Business, as well as recognition as one of the Innovators of the Year by the same organization.

Outside her law practice, Ms. Craig maintains close affiliations with organizations such as the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Federal Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association.
