Mr. DeRouen is a twenty two year lawyer who has represented clients throughout all state and federal courts in Louisiana. He is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in Louisiana and is licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Pat has concentrated his practice in the areas of SIU Investigation, EUOs, Arson Defense, Alleged Auto Theft, Staged Accidents, etc.... Mr. DeRouen also practices in the area of Insurance Defense for Personal Injury and Property Damage along with Trucking and Transportation Law.
Mr. DeRouen has successfully resolved via trial and/or settlement over one thousand cases throughout his legal career. He also meets the educational and work requirements to be certified as a mediator in the State of Louisiana. Pat is an AV rated attorney who has been recognized by Super Lawyers, AM Best and New Orleans Magazine in recent issues for his legal skill and ability.
Mr. DeRouen has also presented numerous papers at various continuing legal education seminars. He also provides educational talks for his clients and is part of the Adjunct Faculty at Tulane Law School teaching trial advocacy.
