R. Brent Cueria is the founding partner of Cueria Law Firm, LLC, in New Orleans, where since 1993 he has devoted his practice exclusively to personal injury advocacy. Drawing on years of experience gained both defending and prosecuting insurance claims, he passionately champions the rights of individuals who have been injured or disabled through negligence. His unwavering commitment to each client ensures that no detail is overlooked and that every case receives the personalized attention it deserves.

A distinguished academic, Mr. Cueria earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 1988. His legal journey began at a renowned personal injury firm with a national presence, where he sharpened his skills in representing injured plaintiffs. 

This experience was further enriched by Mr. Cueria’s tenure at a defense-oriented practice, where he spent three years defending automobile, trucking and medical malpractice insurers, as well as the state of Louisiana, in intricate liability disputes. Even during this period, his commitment to justice led him to selectively take on plaintiff cases, allowing him to cultivate a profound understanding of both sides of the legal arena.
