Mr. Kreller is among the thousands of New Orleans residents who suffered losses when Hurricane Katrina ravaged the area in August 2005 and destroyed his home and many of his possessions, and the event has continued to influence the empathetic manner in which he relates to clients and his tenacious efforts to obtain financial redress on their behalf.

While in law school, he served as the comment and case note editor for the Loyola Maritime Law Journal and was the recipient of a Law Excellence Award in corporate finance.
