Timothy D. Scandurro

Tim Scandurro is a founding member of the firm. He began his career at a large regional firm in New Orleans, in its construction and commercial litigation section. He has experience in all of the firm’s practice areas, with a particular focus on business and commercial issues and disputes. He has served on both plaintiff and defendant steering committees and as trial counsel in complex class action and mass tort litigation in Louisiana state and federal courts. As trial counsel, he has successfully represented clients in the prosecution and defense of numerous large claims before judges, juries and appellate courts. He is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell, its highest rating for legal ability and professional ethics. Tim has been recognized in the field of business litigation for many years as a Louisiana “Super Lawyer” based on peer recognition and achievement and has also been recognized as one of the National Law Journal’s Elite Lawyers of the South. He is licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court and before all Louisiana state and federal courts and is a Past President of the Plaquemines Parish Bar Association.

Tim is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Tulane University and a 1987 honors graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center, where he received awards as the top student in Constitutional Law and served as editor of the American Criminal Law Review. He has served on the Tulane University Associates Board and the Tulane Athletics Advisory Committee, and pro bono as a court-appointed special advocate for children. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Salvation Army of Greater New Orleans. Tim also enjoys competing with other formerly young athletes in the Over the Mountain Athletic Club.

Tim lives in the New Orleans area with his wife of 28 years, Sara. They have two daughters.
