Vincent P. Scallan

As the founder of Vincent P. Scallan Law, LLC, Vincent Piazza Scallan advocates for people in the New Orleans metropolitan area, including Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, St. Charles and St. John the Baptist parishes. Mr. Scallan commits his practice to handling cases that involve personal injury, criminal defense, DWI defense, family law, employment litigation and workers’ compensation.

After receiving a Bachelor of Science in management from Louisiana State University in 2006, Mr. Scallan went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University.

For years, Mr. Scallan has successfully litigated on behalf of his clients. He understands that whether he is representing a family in a child custody battle, fighting for compensation after a workplace injury, or resolving a business dispute, there is a need for precision and professionalism. As an attorney with extensive experience handling a variety of legal issues, Mr. Scallan gives each client personalized attention in order to build the strongest case possible.

Mr. Scallan treats his clients with respect and dignity throughout the course of every case, which has proven to be successful in the courtroom. After a local parish failed to turn on the pumps during Hurricane Katrina, Mr. Scallan and a team of trial lawyers represented the residents of the area in a class-action lawsuit involving around 30,000 properties that were allegedly damaged during the resultant flooding. He also secured a $400,000 settlement in a personal injury claim against a local supermarket.

Mr. Scallan is a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice, and the American Bar Association.
