Joseph B. Odom

Joe Odom grew up in Ruston, Louisiana, and graduated from Cedar Creek School and Louisiana Tech University. After earning his Juris Doctorate and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, he returned home to practice law in the community where he was raised.

Before law school, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve as an infantryman, completing two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and earning the rank of Sergeant. The discipline and attention to detail he learned in the military shape how he approaches every case today.

His legal career began on the other side of the courtroom. Working as an insurance defense attorney, he learned how insurers evaluate claims, what documentation they require, and which arguments they use to reduce payouts. This experience now informs his work representing injured people. He knows the defense strategies because he used them himself.

Today, Joe handles auto accidents, 18-wheeler collisions, wrongful death cases, and catastrophic injuries.
