Carey T. Schimpf

A skilled litigator, Carey T. Schimpf is dedicated to helping victims of negligence in Shreveport and the surrounding areas in Louisiana. As a partner at Weems, Schmipf, Haines & Moore (APLC), he battles through personal injury cases to secure compensation for people who have experienced incidents such as product liability, car accidents and wrongful death.

Mr. Schimpf has always had a relentless work ethic. At Louisiana State University, from which he earned a Bachelor of General Studies in 1976, he was captain of the track and field program and received All-American and All-Southeastern Conference awards. He went on to graduate with a Juris Doctor from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1979.

He brings his education and real-world experience to his practice today. After law school, Mr. Schimpf was able to hone his trial skills through serving as an assistant district attorney. He is adept at constructing a case using the facts, expert testimony and the client's own story about what occurred.

To stay on top of personal injury law and trends, Mr. Schimpf is active with legal organizations such as the American Association for Justice, The Shreveport Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association.
