Curtis R. Shelton

Curtis R. Shelton is a sagacious advocate for his clients, helping them with their strenuous litigious issues, ranging from matters pertaining to energy, oil and gas law, natural resources law and construction law to commercial litigation, corporate law and transactions, arbitration and mediation, as well as property law and real estate transactions, among many others. From the law office of Ayres, Shelton, Williams, Benson & Paine, LLC, in Shreveport, Louisiana, he serves clients across the surrounding region and in East Texas as well. 

Mr. Shelton completed his undergraduate studies in 1981, graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Northwestern State University. He went on to attend the Louisiana State University Law Center, where he honed his legal acumen and talents which are still evident in the advocacy he provides for his clients today. He received his Juris Doctor in 1985 and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. The same year he graduated from law school, he obtained his license to practice law in Louisiana.
