Daniel A. Wentworth

Daniel A. Wentworth's role as a senior associate at the Law Offices of Dylan Boyd in Portland, Maine, reflects his dedication to the legal profession and his commitment to serving the diverse legal needs of his clients. Although he was born in Portland, Mr. Wentworth spent his formative years in Sanford. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Appalachian State University in 2014. He completed his J.D. program at the University of Maine in 2017 with highest honors. He graduated from Maastricht University in the Netherlands with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in forensics, criminology and law in 2023. 

Mr. Wentworth learned a lot about both criminal and civil law when he was in law school. As a student attorney, he negotiated at dispositional conferences, screened cases and represented the state at suppression hearings and other criminal processes for the York County District Attorney's Office. In addition to his legal education, he served as a reserve police officer with the Old Orchard Beach Police Department, where he learned about and participated in criminal investigations. 

In his final year of law school, Mr. Wentworth worked as a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, representing clients in a wide range of criminal and civil matters, from dispositional conferences and federal bail revocations to family law and protection from abuse hearings and civil tort cases. 

Mr. Wentworth is a licensed attorney in the state of Maine and is a member of the Maine Bar Association and the Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He's made court appearances in places like Portland, Biddeford, York, Springvale, Alfred and Lewiston. He has received a “Good” rating on Avvo. This rating reflects not only his legal experience but also his commitment to providing excellent service to his clients.
