J. Scott Logan

The owner of Law Office of J. Scott Logan, LLC, J. Scott Logan focuses his practice on consumer bankruptcy and other forms of debt relief. Many of Mr. Logan's clients are able to qualify for Chapter 13. Under this method, which is available to people with a reliable source of income, debts are repaid under a court-approved plan that lasts up to five years. Mr. Logan also has experience in Chapter 12 bankruptcies, which are designed for farmers and fisherman, and he has worked on Chapter 11 filings for clients whose unsecured debts are higher than the limit imposed by Chapter 13. A summa cum laude graduate of Bowdoin College, Mr. Logan obtained his legal education at Boston College Law School and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2005.
