Andrew S. Janet

Andrew S. Janet is co-chair of the sexual abuse division and a partner at Janet, Janet & Suggs, LLC, which has multiple locations across ten different states. Mr. Janet works out of the Baltimore, Maryland, office, representing individuals from Maryland, Pennsylvania, Minnesota and New York. His practice is primarily focused on cases involving:

• Personal injury
• Medical malpractice
• Sexual abuse – plaintiff
• Environmental litigation
• Professional negligence

Graduating cum laude from the New York University School of Law in 2014, Mr. Janet is admitted to practice in the states of New York, Maryland and Minnesota. During law school, he was the executive editor of the NYU Law Review, in which he also published two articles. Furthermore, he was a Robert McKay scholar and served as the New York State Attorney General’s claims bureau intern. Prior to law school, he obtained his bachelor’s from the University of Pennsylvania.

After graduation, Mr. Janet worked as an associate attorney in an international law firm’s litigation department; he gained extensive experience in conducting investigations and handling complex corporate litigation cases, where several billions of dollars were on the line. In his current firm, he mostly works on high-profile personal injury cases, including class actions and individual cases. He also takes a special interest in fraudulent business practice cases.

Mr. Janet’s accomplishments in the legal field include winning an $852 million settlement against the University of Southern California in a sexual abuse case; this is the largest known settlement for sexual abuse lawsuit in U.S. history. Recognized by the legal community, he is listed among the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America since 2022.
