Damien R. Banks

Damien R. Banks is a dedicated attorney providing comprehensive legal services in matters of personal injury. Before pursuing a degree in law, Mr. Banks earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, after which he worked at a law firm specializing in representing personal injury victims. With his newfound love for law, he enrolled at the American University Washington College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2005. With the opportunity to serve as a clerk in the district and circuit court for Montgomery County, he earned early exposure to court proceedings.

Upon earning his license to practice law in Maryland in 2006, Mr. Banks started his career as a defense attorney for healthcare providers, defending negligence claims throughout Maryland and Washington, D.C. He developed a comprehensive understanding of defense strategies through this professional background, which he now leverages in his current practice to effectively counter defense tactics. He transitioned to representing victims of personal injury in 2015 and since has recovered millions in compensation for his clients.

Additionally, Mr. Banks is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and federal courts in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. He has been a longstanding trustee of the Baltimore Bar Foundation, where he previously served as president in 2021. He also served as chair of the Personal Injury Committee and served on the Executive Council of the Bar Association of Baltimore City. He further worked on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association.
