While in law school, she was the Note and Comment Editor for the Catholic University Law Review, and Vice Chancellor of the school’s Moot Court.
Admitted to practice in Connecticut, the District of Columbia and Maryland. She is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. She served as president of the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc. from 2019-2020, an organization of over 1200 attorneys, and has been honored for her support of female litigators with the Women’s Caucus Award at the end of her term in June of 2020. Ms. Flynn now serves on the Board of Governors for the American Association for Justice, which is the national equivalent of the Maryland Association for Justice.
She has served the legal community in many other roles, including involvement in the Nursing Home Section of MAJ, and as a former Editor in Chief of the Trial Reporter. Within her practice area of medical malpractice, she takes cases of wrongful death, informed consent, delayed or incorrect diagnosis, surgical mistakes, medication errors and birth injuries. Her employment law practice includes representing employees who have been discriminated against or wrongfully terminated.
