    Attorney Profile

The founder of his law firm, George E. Golomb divides his practice between family law and labor and employment law matters. From the firm's main office in Baltimore, Maryland, he provides representation to people and businesses throughout the greater metropolitan area. Admitted to practice in Maryland since 1985, Mr. Golomb is also admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Golomb's family law practice primarily consists of his providing advice and counsel to people who are seeing their marriages come to an end and who are thus having to deal with such issues as child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, and the division of complex assets and debts. A seasoned courtroom advocate when litigation is necessary, his background in mediation and negotiations allows him to help many of his clients reach an accord on these matters through those alternative dispute resolution methods. In his employment law practice, Mr. Golomb has represented both employers and employees in a wide range of cases, including claims of discrimination covered by Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and other federal and state laws. He has also prepared and reviewed employment and severance agreements and other important documents. Mr. Golomb's successful track record in all of these endeavors has earned him an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo.

A graduate of Yale University, Mr. Golomb obtained his legal education at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1972. He also studied at the Hague Academy of International Law.
