Hunter Duke

Hunter Duke is an attorney with WGK Personal Injury Lawyers in Baltimore, Maryland, concentrating his practice on automobile accidents, medical malpractice and wrongful death matters. Since joining the firm in 2019, he has handled a wide range of personal injury files and taken an active role in shaping the firm’s client services and case management systems.

Mr. Duke began his legal path after earning a B.A. in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Maryland, College Park and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He was admitted to the Maryland bar soon thereafter and has practiced exclusively at WGK, building his trial and negotiation experience through hands-on representation of injured clients and their families. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, enabling him to pursue federal litigation when clients’ needs require it.

In the capacity of an operations manager, Mr. Duke directed operational improvements that doubled the firm’s caseload capacity, increased output and grew the team — changes that supported more timely client communication and a steadier flow of case resolutions. Alongside these administrative duties, he continues to secure favorable settlements and advance matters toward trial when necessary.

Mr. Duke’s courtroom work and client-first advocacy have earned recognition from The National Trial Lawyers, including listings among the Top 40 Under 40 and the Top 25 in auto accidents. Those honors reflect a practice built on meticulous case preparation, clear communication with clients, and focused negotiation strategies that seek the best practical results for injured parties. Active in the professional and local community, Mr. Duke is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and serves as communications and records officer for the Jemicy School Alumni Board. He balances his operational leadership with direct client work, maintaining a dedication to securing recovery and restoring stability for those the firm represents.
