A tireless advocate for veterans, Mr. Miller leads the firm’s litigation on behalf of service members harmed by defective military earplugs. He also spearheads the Camp Lejeune water contamination lawsuits, striving to hold government contractors accountable for long-term health consequences. His dedication to serving those who have served our country underscores his belief that every client deserves zealous representation.
Beyond medical negligence, Mr. Miller has successfully pursued claims against negligent trucking companies and construction firms, protecting the rights of everyday people harmed by corporate misconduct. After operating his own successful practice for many years, he joined Peter Angelos Law in 2010, bringing with him an absolute dedication to securing justice on behalf of injured individuals. His formidable trial presence, combined with a deep understanding of civil litigation, has made him one of Maryland’s most respected trial lawyers.
Throughout his career, Mr. Miller has demonstrated exceptional skill in high-stakes cases. He tried the largest consolidated jury trial ever conducted against a single cardiologist, securing more than $35 million for affected patients. His adept handling of complex medical malpractice, product liability and pharmaceutical litigation has contributed to jury awards and settlements totaling hundreds of millions of dollars.
In addition to his trial work, Mr. Miller has provided leadership within the legal community. He chaired the Baltimore County Lawyer Assistance Committee for more than a decade and served as president of the Baltimore County Bar Association in 2020. He is a past vice president of the Bar Association and co-chair of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Lawyer Assistance Committee. He is AV Preeminent* peer-review rated through Martindale-Hubbell and named to The Daily Record’s 2025 Power List of Maryland’s top medical malpractice and personal injury lawyers.
Mr. Miller graduated with a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1987 and a B.A. in criminal justice with honors from the same institution in 1983. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the U.S. Supreme Court.
